What are Essential Oils?

Essential oils are life enhancing gifts from the plant kingdom, revered for centuries for their restorative properties to body, mind, and spirit.  Pure essential oils are a key solution to the challenges facing modern lifestyles.

Essential oils are freshly cultivated and distilled from plants, shrubs, flowers, trees, roots, bushes & seeds.  They contain oxygenating molecules that transport nutrients to the cells of the body.  Without oxygen, nutrients can’t be assimilated.  Leaving us nutritionally depleted.  According to the translation of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics and Chinese manuscripts, priests and physicians have been using essential oils or thousands of years. They were mankind’s first medicine.

Therapeutic grade essential oils deliver positive benefits to the body through smell, direction absorption into the skin, and by normal digestive processes.  Cleansing, calming, stimulating, soothing, essential oils bring balance to all systems of the body.

Benefits of Essential Oils
Essential Oils have been used throughout time dating back to 4500 BC.  From perfumes and aromas to medicinal purposes, essential oils were used in everyday life for centuries.  In modern days, therapeutic grade essential oils deliver positive benefits to the body through smell, direct absorption into the skin and by the normal digestive porcess3es.

How to Use Essential Oils

Aromatherapy Uses………

Direct Inhalation: Directly inhale the oil from the bottle.
Diffusion: Use Essential Oil Diffuser to disperse oil in a micro-fine vapor into the air.
Humidifier: Fill a humidifier with water then place a tissue or cloth, sprinkled with a few drops of oil, in front of the escaping vapor.
Steam:  Place a few drops of oil in hot water, cover your head with a towel and breather deeply and slowly.

Topical Application……..

Direct:  Only therapeutic grade essential oils can be applied directly to the skin.  This method of application is referred to as NEAT.  I have personally applied them to the crown of the head, to the temples, behind the ears, over vital organs, to the feet and on many other locations.  Dilutions with a carrier oil is sometimes required depending on the individual.
Massage:  Therapeutic grade essential oils can be used before, during and after massage.
Perfume:  With natural, earthy and exotic aromas, essentials oils can also be worn as a perfume.

Internal Use….
VERY FEW ESSENTIAL OILS ARE LABELED FOR INTERNAL USE.
ONLY THERAPEUTIC GRADE ESSENTIAL OILS THAT ARE PROPERLY LABELED SHOULD BE USED INTERNALLY.
Capsule: Add several drops of oil into an empty capsule and swallow with water.
Liquid Additive: Add 1-2 drops of oil to a glass of water or milk.
Bread: Add 1-2 drops of oil on a piece of bread.
Cooking: Use the oils in place of fresh or dried herbs & spices in your everyday cooking.
